Hi, I’m Luke Sommerlad, a London-based coach, mentor and neurodiversity specialist.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in 1994 and I wouldn’t change my ADHD for the world.

From knowing nothing to trial and error and successfully managing my ADHD, I’ve learnt to work with my brain rather than against it. This hasn’t been easy, and I know the frustrations neurodivergent individuals face, but now, I’m in a good place with my ADHD, which is why I’m committed to supporting you.

With over a decade of experience as a butler, estate manager, and executive assistant to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, I've found that the people skills in these previous roles align closely with those needed in coaching. I now use these strategies to empower clients, building balance in their professional and personal lives, just as I once managed and organised multiple large households.

My approach combines executive function coaching, lifestyle and health coaching, and education on neurodiversity so you understand yourself better, prevent burnout, and live a fulfilled life. I create a safe, supportive space to help you navigate relationships, build sustainable habits, and manage overwhelm.

Sometimes all you need is a listening ear, which I’m here to provide.

I have got so much out of the sessions I’ve had with Luke. I have found the coaching not only helped me to put things in place that I was procrastinating on, but in general helped highlight where the ADHD was constantly tripping me up and how to work WITH my brain, rather than against it. I got a diagnosis at the age of 49, so I had a lifetime of unlearning to do.

I had already been working alone on myself and had already made changes, but having a space where someone else just understands was truly invaluable. It has allowed me to put things in place which help my mind work better and also importantly to be kinder to myself and recognise when I begin to feel overwhelmed, stuck etc. I would highly recommend Luke as an ADHD coach, he is friendly, kind and very knowledgeable, I’m really glad I got to work with him. Thank you Luke :)

Before Luke and I started our coaching journey, I was very lost and couldn’t fathom a future where I would be able to cope or see a way where I could enjoy life with ADHD. Since then everything has gotten easier and It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

The knowledge Luke holds, and the commitment he brings to his clients is unmatchable and I would recommend him to anyone who is struggling with ADHD. He would also be a great asset to anyone who wants to improve their life and make it a better quality of living.

I spoke to many ADHD coaches in order to find the right one. It took chatting to nine others to come across the perfect fit and that was Luke. Despite having ADHD himself, he is so organised and so professional. Booking an appointment with him is effortless and he also sends reminders. As a person he is so interesting. I've never met anyone who trained in the “International Butler Academy" in the Netherlands and worked in a castle!

As a coach he is so friendly, warm and engaging and so very passionate about what he does. He sure knows his stuff! He taught me about the pre-frontal cortex and how us ADHDer's have low levels of dopamine which explains why we crave thrilling experiences and why basic mundane tasks makes us feel brain pain! I would highly recommend Luke. With him you will find a coach who is fully engaged and invested in helping you find effective strategies to help you harness your ADHD superpowers and also help find creative solutions for the things we struggle with.

Cannot speak highly enough of Luke and his approach. He is able to consider all the info being shared with him - even sometimes in an unstructured way - and assimilate it into a valuable discussion and plan where action points feel achievable and never forced. He is well-read and well-rounded and able to grasp the challenges many of us face - both everyday and more nuanced. He is able to advise on suitable courses of action without being too prescriptive. Thank you, Luke!

Luke's coaching was a game-changer. I was diagnosed late in life, his guidance, knowledge and compassionate approach have really been transformative, it’s equipped me with loads of valuable tools and strategies for truly managing and understanding (and finally accepting) my ADHD. I’d highly recommend!

Changing the Stigma

Whether you have ADHD, autism, another neurodivergent condition, or a combination of several, it’s not a deficit. Our brains work differently, so it’s unfair to compare us with our neurotypical counterparts.

If you’re diagnosed or undiagnosed and waiting for assessment, or you’re a medical professional looking for a referral partner, my mission is to educate and inspire you to take practical steps to transform you and your patients’ lives.
